In late 2008, Paramount Studios began searching for someone to make stone age weaponry for M. Night Shyamalan's next major motion picture, "Avatar: The Last Airbender." Their search led them to Lethal Lithics™.
After submitting some samples of my work, I was commissioned to custom-design and fabricate an entire arsenal of stone age weapons for the movie's main characters: Five flint-tipped knives, four flint-tipped spears, and a unique antler-tipped "Leister," or trident harpoon. I worked closely with the filmmakers to develop custom designs that would integrate with the movie set and other props and costume designs while remaining faithful to the original award-winning Nickelodeon anime' series on which the movie is based.
With a budget of $250 million, and currently filming on sets around the globe, the movie is scheduled for release on July 2, 2010. Watch for my weapons in the hands of some of the main characters.
UPDATE 4/1/2010: One of the spears I made has already shown up in the hands of "Sokka" played by Jackson Rathbone. The spear first appeared very briefly in the Superbowl trailer, but in the second trailer it is prominently featured in the first 30 seconds (see screen capture at left). Watch the HD trailer here.
The Airbender story will be presented as a trilogy, so two additional films will follow. Lethal Lithics™ stands ready to create more weapons for the rest of the trilogy, which is already being hailed as the next Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.

Hollywood also selected me to design a sophisticated and beautiful, fully-functional version of the ''Kurgan Sword'' for the cult classic ''Highlander'' movies.
